Eight Limbs of Classical Yoga

The practice of yoga as outlined in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali encompasses exercise, meditation and ritual for the whole body and spirit. The eight limbs of Classical Yoga address our relationships with others, with ourselves and with the Divine. The eight stages of the limbs of Classical Yoga are known as Ashtanga Yoga (ashta = eight and anga = limb) beginning with ethical conduct and progressing through asanas, breathing exercises; and finally meditation practices that lead to spiritual ecstasy and consciousness through self-realization and union with the divine. The eight limbs are described below:

Yamas

Health Literacy

These five virtues govern our relationships with others and with our environment:Ahimsa - non-injury or non-harming

Satay - truthfulness

Asteya - nonstealing

Brahmacharya - Godlike conduct

Aparigraha - non-clinging/non-attachment

Niyamas

These five practices address our own appearance, deeds and thoughts, and govern our relationship with ourselves:

Shauca - cleanliness, purity, hygiene, grooming

Santosha- happiness, contentment

Tapas - yearning for reunion with God

Svadyaya- introspection, self-examination

Isvara Pranidhana- surrender and devotion to the Divine

Coupled with the Yamas and Niyamas are the following practices for the mind, body and spirit:

Asana - The practice of postures is the most widely recognized form of yoga in the Western World. In the East, asana is a smaller part of the complete yoga practice. The series of postures firms the body, focuses the mind and cools the spirit in preparation for meditation.

Pranayama - This practice of breathing exercises steadies the mind and cools the body in order for the yogi to master prana (life energy).

Pratyahara - The practice of Pratyahara engages the yogi in a meditation practice wherein the yogi withdraws their thoughts and senses from the outside world and focuses their gaze inward to the Self.

Dharana - The practice of Dharana exercises the mind in focused concentration; asanas quiet the body and pranayama quiets the breath and mind to bring the yogi through pratyahara to the practice of dharana.

Dhyana - Meditation. The yogi withdraws their consciousness from the outside world; the consciousness enters the soul.

Samadhi - Samadhi is englightment, self-realization combined with union with the Divine. The yogi experiences ecstasy, joy, complete openness and consciousness. The experience of Samadhi is outside the mind.

Reading and Literacy: Their Importance

Literacy is a very important aspect of any community. If a community has to make progress socially and economically, the key aspects required are not limited to their financial power, but more on how many people of their population are literate. Literacy improvement can take place, only when community members realize the value of education and make use of educational tools to enhance their knowledge base and use it progressive working environment.

Every country has statistics on the population's literacy percentage. This literacy percentage is expressed for men and women and can be divided according to regions, which serves as a way to understand how much of the population has advanced in terms of education and how much is still lacking of it. Literacy percentage highlights populations that have make progress in education as opposed to those who are advanced, and as a result enjoy better standard of living and enhanced work opportunities.

Health Literacy

The key aspects to enhancing reading and literacy percentage is emphasizing on the importance of education. If there are more school in a particular areas, there is more of an emphasis to attend school and gain education up to the secondary level. Education imparted to students at the high school level, prepares them to face work s challenges and also gives them the knowledge required to face various areas of life in general.

Emphasis on the importance of education should be spread in those communities that are lacking in the right reading and literacy percentages because it enables such communities to advance and also in course of time makes them progressive in very sphere of life. Economic progress is possible only in those areas of society where there is spread of knowledge and awareness through a good educational system. Members of the community should have an enriched lie through education as it enables people to gain better employment opportunities.

Non-Formal Education in the Philippines

Non-formal Education is one of the means to spread literacy and employable skills to the people and it covers a much larger audience than the formal system. The NFE in Philippines is designed to assist the out-of-school youth and adults who have been deprived of formal education. There may be varying reasons for this.It may include the economic, social and geographical limitations which have hindered the path of literacy and employable skills.

The mission of the NFE program in Philippines is to empower the people with "desirable knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values that will enable him/her to think critically and creatively, act innovatively and humanely in improving the quality of his/her life and that of his/her family, community and country."

Health Literacy

The main objective of NFE in Philippines is to reduce the number of illiterates in the country and provide them with need-based literacy programmes and also develop basic employable skills.Activities like vocational training, adult reading classes, family planning sessions as well as leadership workshops for community leaders.

This branch of education is looked after by the Bureau of Non-Formal Education which has its history dating back to 1829 when civic educational lectures were introduced in the country.Non-formal education was formally started in 1973 and is now an integral part of the developmental activities. There is a 3-pronged approach in this method which focuses on literacy, continuing education and staff development.

The main thrust of NFE is on the acquisition of skills needed for earning livelihood and to survive the competitiveness in the labor market. The horizons of non-formal education are far wider as compared to the formal system.

NFE reaches out to a greater audience irrespective of demographic characteristics, socio-economic conditions and varied general interests. In a few words, this system reaches out to all those people who might otherwise never get a chance to have any sort of education.

The Non-formal Education Program of Philippines lays thrust on the following aspects:
• Literacy Programs for numeracy and functional literacy of each individual
• Development of Livelihood Skills
• Expansion of Certification and Equivalency Programmes

One of the main aims of NFE is to bring about a decrease in the poverty levels among the communities. To attain this goal, the bureau provides leadership and technical assistance in the implementation of literacy programmes, projects, trainings, workshops etc. This process includes the following features:

Female Functional Literacy & Parent Education: This program majorly involves the mother and provides them with essential skills and competencies to perform better in the fields related to child survival, protection and development.

Literacy Project for Cultural Communities: The target group for this program is that section of the society which is unable to attend the formal education system. This may include the cultural communities in general and also the hill tribes in particular.

Development of Literacy Measures: The Bureau of Non-formal Education in Philippines has developed some literacy parameters through a series of seminars and workshops. At the moment there are seven literacy measures which decide the functional literacy of the target group. This is also accompanied by a Manual of Instructions for using the Measures and its scoring.
Development of Resource Material: It also focuses on the development of the curricula for various levels of literacy and also the resource material needed for the same. This includes booklets, posters and the facilitator's guide.

Actual Implementation on the Field: This is the most important component of the whole project.Efforts are made to implement the literacy and livelihood development programmes in the actual field with the target group in order to eradicate illiteracy and thereby alleviating poverty.

Thus, the Bureau of Non-formal Education in Philippines works on four major action points - family life skills which also includes health, nutrition, childcare, household management, family planning; vocational skills, functional skills and enhancing livelihood skills.

Why Children Should Exercise

When a few parents gather to talk about their children, one of the most frequently discussed topic is to compare the best tuition center available. This is not surprising as with the raise in education standard and high competitiveness in today studies, many parents are willing to spending more time and money on their children's education. This can be understandable as all parents want their children to excel in their academic performance.

As technology becomes so advanced, the childhood experienced 10 to 15 years ago as compared to now is completely different. Those once familiar childhood games such as Pepsi Cola, five stones, hop scotch, zero point, police and thief, throwing marbles now seems so foreign to children nowadays. Nowadays, their childhood is probably filled with PSP, PS3, XBOX and other computer gaming. Their only favorite physical activities perhaps are fingers, eyes and mouth exercises (computer gaming and eating snacks while watching television). While in certain context, gaming does have its own benefits in training of the human reflex and reaction; children should not be spending too much of their time on computer gaming.

Health Literacy

This is particularly worrying as children would have lost the opportunity to develop their fundamental and locomotive skills such as running, leaping, hopping, catching, throwing etc......which will hinder their physical literacy during their growth and developmental phase. Without these fundamental and locomotive skills, they would find difficulty when they engage in other sport games such as baseball or basketball and will feel inferior when their classmates are able to strike and dribble properly while they can't. This might have a long term effect where the poor child lost interest in that particular sport when they grew up.

Both fundamental and locomotive skills do not develop automatically, it need to be given the opportunity and time to practice. Taking running for instance, children often like to run around more than walking when they were young, as compared to more specific locomotive skills such as striking, balancing, throwing, receiving which needs to be given time and opportunity to practice and develop.

With the lack of children physical activities, there has seen an increasing trend in child obesity over the past few years and the government had also expressed their concern by implementing more awareness to the schools and public on educating how to manage obesity, especially in young children. One such campaign is the - 2nd SHF-NIE National Seminar 2007 "Managing Obesity in Schools" jointly organized by MOE and the Singapore Heart Foundation.

The "Managing Obesity in Schools" series of annual seminars are organized so as to raise community awareness of obesity related health and educational issues in schools among teachers, parents and the public at large

Parents are strongly encouraged to allow children to spend more time on physical activities and playing, other than studies so as to prevent many of the long term health issues which is linked to obesity. Along with increased risk of heart disease, diabetes and other medical disorders, obese people can develop potential musculoskeletal problems which are caused by their increased in body weight. We all know that excess weight will adds additional stress on the major weight-bearing joints, such as the hips, knees, spine and ankles. Over prolong period, this can lead to soft tissue injuries, arthritis, and other painful joint disorders, which can be prevented.

Sports and exercise provides a very good platform for the children to explore their physical potential and capabilities which also helps to greatly enforce their self esteem, confidence and discipline. Team sports such as basketball, soccer, hockey allows children to learn valuable qualities such as team building which cannot be obtained from reading textbooks alone. Close skilled sports such as Wushu, Taichi, Gymnastic, Archery allows children to learn focusing and concentration technique. Of course, there are still many other benefits and qualities which can be obtained from Sports that is not listed.

Looking at more specifically, taking for instance, children who practice Wushu or Taichi tend to have better concentration and focus during study and also are more discipline, due to the nature of the sports and training environment. The slow and calming movements in Taichi, enables children to explore their more innate self and be aware and thus able to handle their own stress and anxiety level much better compared to those who did not exercise at all. It also provides them with an opportunity to slow down their pace of movement occasionally to train on their concentration & focus. Besides that, it also helps to ensure proper posture alignment which is especially important during their growing up stage.

Like all parents, being a coach and physical educator, we hope to provide the best environment to nurture our next generation with a holistic physical and mental environment. As if the above is not convincing why children should engage more in different form of physical and sporting activities, below is a list of why exercise is good for children.

1. Children who exercise and engage in sporting activities regularly are more likely to continue exercising even as an adult.

2. Exercise helps children achieve and maintain a healthy body weight.

3. Regular physical activity helps build and maintain strong, healthy muscles, bones and joints.

4. Exercise aids in the development of important interpersonal skills such as team building - this is especially true for participation in team sports.

5. Exercise helps improves the quantity and quality of sleep.

6. Research had shown that exercise promotes improved school attendance and also enhances academic performance.

7. Children who exercise regularly tends to have greater self-esteem, confidence and better self-images.

8. Participating in regular physical activity prevents or delays the development of many chronic diseases (e.g., heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and hypertension) and promotes health.

9. Children who are active report fewer symptoms of anxiety and depression better mental control.

10. Exercise helps improve motor coordination and enhances the development of various motor performance skills.

On this very special Children Day, besides the usual gifts of sweets and chocolate bars which the kids definitely love to have, perhaps we could offer them even more, to spend more time and play with them, which will not only increase their physical activities level as well as promote stronger bonding relationships between the children and you.

Computer Literacy

Once, the idea that only companies that need computer was used. Therefore, knowledge of computers was not necessary or required for the layman. The average person only needs to learn and do what their company-or. Boss said their organizational culture.

Outside of work, a (personal) computer desktop, simply the next new electronic gadgets for the home. A personal computer was for the comfort and enjoyment, and not a necessary condition of daily life.

Health Literacy

Now days, if notComputer knowledge and skills you can begin to suffer from low self-esteem, especially if young and old have these skills and knowledge to be seen.

Improve your computer skills. Create the desire to learn all you can about computers. You could start by switching to a class in a Senior Center Plus or division of a local college or training college, or just want to teach. It's never too late to start.

Price:

a) The more you know about computers the more valuable you are toThe employer. Their value could lead to increased job security and, perhaps, advertising opportunities.

b) Earn an extra income to help others with their computer problems. More and more people buy computers. One trend is the growing need for home visits affordable to people (aging population) to support understanding of computers to solve a wide range of computer problems, the creation of a network of computers at home and Internet security.

Why Phonics Is The Key To Strong Reading Skills

To date, over 180 research studies have confirmed that phonics is the best way to teach children how to read. Unfortunately, 80% of our nations schools do not use an intensified phonics approach for reading instruction.

They use a whole word approach (see and say) or a combination of phonics and whole word.

Health Literacy

While children can learn using the whole word method, it is not the best or most efficient way to learn how to read. The whole word method teaches reading through memorization and guessing.

Unlike the Japanese and Chinese languages which are picture based, the English language is phonetic. There are only 44 sounds while there are about 1 million words in English.

These facts readily explain why having to memorize 44 sounds as opposed to memorizing hundreds of thousands of words is the most efficient way to learn to read.

Reading and writing is simply talking on paper. When children learn to talk, they do so by imitating sounds. They then combine the sounds to form words.

The brain is programmed to learn language in this fashion. Therefore, the most efficient way to learn to read is through phonics because it teaches children to read the same way they learned to talk.

A two decades study on the best way to learn how to read, funded by the National Institute of Health, discovered that the three important aspects of reading - identifying letters, identifying sounds associated with the letters, and reaching for meaning of the written word - are each accomplished by different parts of the brain.

A three-part plan that incorporates this information to guide you as you help your child learn to read.

- Part 1: Phonemic awareness, or learning the individual sounds that constitute a language, for example, "kuh" as the sound of "c".

- Part 2: Phonics, or the letter-sound relationships available in the language, for example, "kuh---aah---tuh" sounds out "cat".

- Part 3: Exposure to meaning of the written word through reading and being read to, for example, "kuh---aah---tuh" sounds out "cat" which is "a furry mammal that purrs".

These elements should be used as building blocks, each necessary to support the next. With phonemic awareness as the first block, a child can begin to puzzle out words in books.

With the help of a parent or sibling by his side he'll begin to have the answers to questions he will soon begin to ask.

Now is the time to point out important clues, such as how letter sounds blend, how an "e" at the end of a word changes a vowel sound from short to long, how some consonants have more than one sound.

Discuss lower and upper case letters. Point out the eighteen frequently used words best learned by sight. And remember to keep reading to your child to include exposure to meaning, the all important part 3.

What does your child need in order to read well?

You need to provide 4 things to your child, preferably at an early age, to build a proper reading foundation:

1. Phonics information and the ability to manipulate the sounds that make up spoken language.

2. Phonics skills and the understanding that there are relationships between letters and sounds.

3. The ability to read fluently with accuracy, speed, and expression.

4. To apply reading comprehension strategies to enhance understanding and enjoyment of what they read.

There are many commercial reading programs available that combines whole word and phonics based principles. Whatever reading program you decide to use, make sure that it's recommended by parents and teachers, find out how long the program has been on the market and verify it's success rate.

Twelve Tips to Help Your Struggling Student

Is your student bringing home grades that do not reflect his level of intelligence? Is your child complaining about not liking school? Talking about school being boring? Having difficulty finding motivation to complete homework and school projects? Those may be signs that your child is finding his schoolwork too challenging. Get to the bottom of the problem by having a candid talk with your child and his teacher(s). If you find that your child is indeed having difficulty, here are some tips that can help:

1. Have your child's vision tested. Your child may simply need glasses.

Health Literacy

2. Have your child's hearing tested. Hearing can be affected by things such as impacted wax, or injury from prior ear infections.

3. Conference with your child's teacher(s). Find out what specific academic areas need extra attention. "Reading" is vague, but "learning letter sounds", "identifying compound words" is more specific and helpful to you.

4. Ask educational experts for referrals; tutors, learning centers or good supplemental materials in the needed areas. Some excellent experts include your child's teacher, school principal, a tutor, retired teacher, a children's librarian, or a knowledgeable employee at a teacher supply store.

5. Purchase a notebook to correspond with your child's teacher. On a weekly basis, ask her to alert you of progress noticed, inform you of upcoming tests or signal a new area of difficulty. If you have hired a private tutor, have the tutor correspond with the teacher as well. Regular communication is key!

6. Get your child organized. Your child should organize his backpack, school folders, desk/locker on a weekly basis. Check-in when necessary until a habit has been established.

7. Make learning fun! Children are less likely to rebel when learning activities are interesting and fun. Add educational games, books on CD, educational DVDs, educational music and educational software into the mix.

8. Get your child out of the house! Find activities related to the academic area of difficulty. Activities will show your child the real-life application of school work and will motivate him to learn. Some terrific educational outings include museums, plays, movies related to a recently read book, extra-curricular science and math classes/clubs, observatories, zoo, arboretums, recycling plant or symphony. The possibilities are endless.

9. Break learning up into smaller chunks. For example, before attempting to teach double digit multiplication, one must first know his times tables. Before going through the entire stack of flash cards, teach 3-5 letter names/sounds until they are known by heart and then add 3-5 more.

10. Keep up the hard work. It's tempting to take a break during the summer, but it's an ideal time to play catch up. While everyone else is on vacation, your child can maintain and gain another two months worth of skills! It's worth the effort!

11. Be encouraging and patient. When your child finally accomplishes something, give due praise. A goal chart is a great way to visually track goals and mark achievements.

12. Before beginning the task, set a goal and a reward. Some children require external motivation, especially to conquer a challenging area that they would rather ignore. Explain that the size of the goal is tied to the size of the reward. Some reward ideas are having a soda with dinner, a meal at a favorite restaurant, a new toy, a slumber party, going to the movies with a friend, or a trip to an amusement park. As long as you're both in agreement, it can be as simple or complex as you want.

The main factor in your child's success is parental involvement. When you become involved in helping your child, you are modeling teamwork, time management skills, organization, the importance of academics, perseverance and optimism. You are in fact teaching your child quality traits that will last his lifetime.

Balanced Scorecard Design - Cause and Effect Ties Among Key Indicators in Strategy Maps

Balanced Scorecard or BSC system has achieved a marvelous popularity these days. And that's no wonder since it's a radical performance evaluation manual as well as a strategic management tool, which seems pretty much like a magical stick for many companies gear up their businesses. But the fact is, to get the most out of the BSC tool you got to be precise at the design and implementation phase. However, let's get straight to the cause and effect ties that lie between the key indicators. A very important thing here is how much you are successful in preserving the balance among the key indicators or aspects of operational activity. This is pretty much tied to strategic mapping. Oftentimes, companies are aimed at putting clear priorities or ties among various key success factors.

This will become clear if you take a look at a few examples. First of all, you have to focus on the urgency of the developments in the computer literacy. Likewise, consider whether the performance of client support service is influencing the rate of constant sales.

Health Literacy

Did you ever ask what could turn out to be profitable - especially in the long run? This question is tied directly with the improvements of your business processes and price reduction strategy. Along those lines, it could be pretty logical if you build or craft a special scheme reflecting the interrelationship among individual indicators of your strategy map. As for example, when customers stay satisfied with your current product quality or client support service, they are pretty much likely to turn into loyal ones for your company. Needless to say, this will translate into better profits. Moreover, it could turn out to be a straight to implement for achieving finance related strategic goals. Such scheme can also underline the importance of individual indicators. As for an instance, customer service within the regional branches of the bank is fully characterized by some indicators which developed on the basis of client satisfaction index, and audit results or on time submission of yearly reports in their head office.

There could be however two kinds of cause and effect ties here. The first kind includes the ties which are measurable and can also be evaluated or analyzed on the basis of the underlying experience or recently conducted research. These might be, for instance, influence of the improvements in individual computer literacy on the added value of your company, or the reaction of the clientele the offered services or support. However, the second category implies the supposed ties. As for an instance, it's possible that you anticipate that the boost in total chunk of the visitors in the company's web page.

This encourages the managers of the company to thoroughly investigate the novel business opportunities and to make investments within the IT sphere. There could be numerous various results related to such a choice, but absolutely no research would prove or dismiss such an assumption. It's possible that the consequences of the interrelations of the various KPI within the strategic mapping could be made on the basis of the experience or results of the specialized research. Nevertheless, some certainty might also remain. For finding the root of the cause and effect ties, you got to get to the root of the cause and effect relationships among the KPIs.

Get A Job

More than one million college grads hit the job market this spring, and their prospects of finding a decent job have improved, according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

Hot job categories are accounting, business administration, computer science and electrical and mechanical engineering. Hot markets are Las Vegas, Phoenix, Washington, DC and Raleigh.

Health Literacy

But what if you aren't in one of the hot job categories or markets? You better have some other intangibles to fall back on.

CollegeGrad.com has surveyed employers to find out what skills they seek. The survey says, "top skills include excellent communication skills, problem solving capabilities, initiative, flexibility, and enthusiasm about the company."

Thirty-seven percent of employers say a student's major is the most important criteria, followed by interviewing skills at 25 percent. Interviewing skills translates to the ability to clearly and effectively communicate.

A study participant says employers look for soft skills that will complement the degree. Health and fitness for everyone - some problems

"Health and Fitness" is probably one of the pairs of words most frequently used. The popularity of this movement and its universal appeal is a pointer to the growing awareness of the health of people in general. Although the importance of health and fitness has always been stressed, there was a sharp increase in health consciousness in recent decades. This can be attributed to the spread of literacy and knowledge on the one hand and the concertedThe efforts of governments and organizations like the World Health Organization.

Health and fitness is not an issue highlighted by governments alone. There is also a business angle to this. Unlike the past, medical care as a business in this century has emerged. We have hospitals and drug manufacturers stamp money by selling the idea of health for the people. As has happened with all these initiatives, there are some things about the adverse health campaign. Arethrough a series of ads on a wide range of healthcare products, drugs, devices, services, etc. They are made of pills to prolong your sexual panacea to the memory, intelligence, improve longevity, etc. There are also offered a series of equipment to improve your fitness, strengthen muscles, flatten your stomach, etc.

Health Literacy

The high demands of the people, to promote some of these products and services that are wondering if these allegations are true. ThisSkepticism is necessary instead to speak with your doctor about your health and treatment and scrupulous in his prescription medications and dietary routines. Whether you buy anything and everything directed by your doctor and follow his advice on lifestyle (if possible) is a testament to the credibility and dignity of the medical profession. What looks most advertising of health products with a certain skepticism is an indication ofincreasing erosion of the credibility of the health and welfare sector.

The reality is that we set out to achieve health and well-being much easier than some of the promoters of the art health products. I do not pretend for a moment that these products have no value. In fact, everyone has a unique value. But the question we must ask, what is your requirement. Health and fitness is important for us all, but many of us can be achieved by following a proper diet areRoutine and spend a few hours of simple exercises. Therefore, before any modern equipment or system, you take the time to assess your needs, considering the state of your physical health (how much of this do I need?) Your financial health (who can afford this and if I can, that is worth the price?) and your time constraints (I can spend time with these devices, or connecting to the proposed routine?)

Achieving Emotional Literacy by Claude Steiner

Category: Psychotherapy
Target audience: General. Great for individuals and couples who want to communicate better.
How difficult is it to read? Straight forward. No knowledge required.

Ok, I admit from the outset of this review, are a bit 'Claude Steiner groupie! I think that Steiner has some great theories and enjoy his life and personality of the largest pure ideas. As you pick up thisreview, I like his stuff emotional literacy and encourage my clients who are emotionally and write, because I'm sure that any improvement to relationships and self-worth increases'm. I will be writing about emotional literacy in more detail in any case!

Health Literacy

If you are not sure that he Claude Steiner is one of the leading figures in the development of TA. He trained with and was a good friend of Eric Berne, founder of TA, and had a great influence on the CT baseConcepts, particularly education and the theory of writing strokes.

The goal of achieving "emotional literacy" is to teach you to do just that! This is a guide to teach, to accept your feelings and take responsibility for the impact that your behavior has on other people's feelings'. After a brief introduction, the book is divided into three phases. Phase one is "The opening of the heart" phase two "Surveying the Landscape emotional" and level three "Taking responsibility". But beforeto describe what I think in each section, it is important to describe what Steiner means of emotional literacy.

Steiner put it this way:

"To be able to emotionally literate emotions in a way that the personal performance improved and enhanced to manage the quality of life around you. Relations emotional competence creates a better chance of love between individuals, cooperative work makes possible and facilitates the sense of community. " Steiner p11

Step oneof the book "Opening the Heart," speaks at length about race and the economy running. Strokes are an important concept in the TA and are defined as "A unit of recognition." This could be talking to others, physical contact or even a smile. Strokes are important to us all and we seek it as a kind of greedy. Steiner explains how to receive and reject the shots accordingly. He stressed the need for honesty in relationships and discusses the way in which all intuitivelyand identify the lies and half truths other people say. When are the rest of us will be taken to a certain level and are harmful to our relationship. Steiner also explains why self-stroking, confronting, the negative voice that tells us that parents are not good, so important if we are lucky to be healthy individuals.

Phase two of the book titled "Surveying the Landscape emotional" goes into detail on how we talk about our emotions with others safely and carefullyand also invite others to meet our needs. The intuition is discussed in detail, and also covers the best way to talk about the "hypothesis" that we have with others.

Step three, "Taking Responsibility" is mainly about how to give and receive apologies. Apologizing is very important when you make mistakes. It repairs damage, leaving the other party know they are valued and respected. Steiner takes us through the right way and wrong way to do it.

Below is a short chapteron the use emotional literacy with children, work, and a chapter on personal power and how we can emotionally literate, without the need for power or violence has powerful.

So why do I recommend this book so highly? And 'emotional literacy because it is such an important part of building relationships with ourselves and others. If we are in relationship with others, have the key to explaining the situation in view, our desires and needs withoutor she provided, we know what they want or why they behaved in a certain way toward us. Steiner explained this clearly, and provides practical advice on how to achieve this.

I love Steiner's ideas on economic center, the more it rings true sun I can see how the rules of the stroke are limited in the way we relate to others, and perhaps most importantly, how we see ourselves. I'm sure many of us experience when someone we care about can have a lot to say, good things for us and we just noticed the second they say a bad thing, it hits home hard. The race is the economy in action!

It is not always easy to feel for each of us for sure it really enough to show our feelings. This book takes us through it in stages and it encourages us to recognize that those who are truly strong in touch with their emotions and know each other well.
